Satisfied with my visits here. Food was good. Place could use a makeover but the food and service is excellent. I would recommend it.

Best pasta I’ve ever eaten. 100/10 Highly recommend the Tortellini Cardinal. It will blow your mind. Service was a little slow but definitely worth it. GO EAT THE PASTA

Elle se résume à une tonne de riz, six petits pétoncles, quelques crevettes nordiques, un maigre pavé de saumon fade et un filet de morue pané réchauffé.Amateurs de la Gaspésie et de ses fruits de mer que nous sommes, prêts à payer le prix pour en savourer ses joies, le Héron nous a amèrement déçu. Parmi les déceptions accumulées, l’absence de goûts, les délais de services et une erreur dans la commande ont contribué à l’échec de notre satisfaction. Nous étions inconfortables à demander du sel et du poivre ne serait-ce que pour apporter une excitation à nos papilles gustatives.P. S. C’est la première fois de notre vie que nous rédigeons un avis. Pour nous aussi, il est inconcevable de laisser passer ça.P. P. S. À propos de la tonne de riz, il faut croire que la cafétéria de mon école secondaire ne détenait finalement pas la pire des recettes.

Worst dinner food ever! They also wouldn't serve breakfast after noon even if we arrived at 11h45, but the girl took 15min to come and see us...

Rather slow service. Food more than ordinary and the prices are very high for the quality of the meal. The fish soup was lukewarm, the seafood linguini was tasteless, no spices, nothing. The spaghetti was dry, like pasta that would have been cooked a long time ago and then reheated. In short, quite disappointing overall.

Very very very poor service. We went for lunch, received a very cold and very bad coffee and we never came to take our order. We will never eat in this place again and I will do the bad service we have received by telling as many people as possible. By the way the bad coffee was very very expensive, $ 5.25 for two shabby little coffees. 👎

Didn't like it. 21$ fish and chips that tasted like old freezer. 6$ green salad that was mostly chopped peppers. Well, i do not recommend this place.

It is a restaurant loved by the locals. We ordered Trout, Italian pasta. The food was great. The setting outside was great too, you can see the ocean.

This place has the BEST fish soup I ever tasted. After my first visit, I went back twice just for the soup.

This is by far my worst restaurant experience in a very long time. $ 100 for a much too liquid scallop, linguini with the same awful sauce and two hot dogs. This is my first google review in my life, but I honestly couldn't pass it up. It's practically laughing at the world! My biggest regret is that I didn't leave when I received these inedible mini portions and paid this bill. First time that I feel so insulted when leaving a restaurant, well done, it deserves to be highlighted !!

The worst Benedictine eggs I have eaten for life. Warm sauce half frozen on the plate. The cheese not melted. Cold spinning ham. The only good thing, the eggs were perfectly cooked It surprises me usually it's good at this restaurant. Fair service the lady is not ironed for coffee and just gave me the bill. No hello, nothing. .I will go elsewhere next time.

If you want to wait more than an hour before eating and make yourself feel bad for being there, Le Héron is the place to be! Honorable mention to frozen vegetables, as in a good michelinas. The customer experience is significantly better at Petro can.
